can we know too much

when did we stop caring? when did we stop learning? how can a question in be unpatriotic?
why do we start sentences with "all I know is" blah blah blah and this simpleton expression
is somehow intelligent and folksy. there is a part of our brain that runs the curiosity factor.
Why do I feel that in 2, 3, or 4 generations from now it will have been successfully erased.
Our great grandchildren will be robots void of creativity that is real and far reaching.
The envelope will no-longer be "pushed".
